Cleansing of the skin is a must, especially if you have acne, whiteheads or blackheads. First you need to open up the pores and unclog the outlets of the skin’s sebaceous glands. Be very careful not to go overboard with these procedures. In time you will be able to determine how often to preform them without harming your skin.

When you have washed your face and steamed it, you can proceed toward the actual cleansing. Regardless of your skin type, you will have to rub your face with alcohol. Use diluted rubbing alcohol for normal skin and an alcohol solution with a higher intensity for oily skin. If your skin is normal you can treat it with a paraffin mask.

Attention! Never commence cleansing without washing and disinfecting your hands!

If you do not have a commercial comedone remover, you can utilize a sterile syringe needle. Use the wide end of the needle (the one that the syringe goes into) and place it over the comedone. Press it gently against your skin. The content of the comedone will come out painlessly. To conclude, rub your face with a 3% solution of hydrogen peroxide.
