All of us ladies want to look beautiful, to have glowing and pretty skin and get a bit of the so desired tan and not only in the summer but all year round. If you do not have the opportunity to go on a vacation and relax under the sunlight at a beautiful beach, your other option is the solarium. However, the solarium can be dangerous if you do not follow the rules for its usage. Here they are:
- Before starting the solar procedures carefully determine your skin type. Remember strictly the directions for use of the solarium, especially with regard to the durability of the procedure.
- Solarium is not recommended for people with sensitive skin, under 16 and / or people with freckles.
- If you have skin irritation or skin problems, consult your doctor whether is prudent the use of the tanning beds. If you suffer from acne or psoriasis, UV-radiation could have a positive effect.
- If the UV-radiation causes an allergic skin reaction, you should refrain from the use of tanning beds.
- It is mandatory to clean your makeup and any cosmetics a few moments before the operation with the solarium. Remove any jewelry, gold and all kinds of ornaments during the procedure.
- Some medicines include substances influencing the susceptibility of the skin to UV-radiation. Read carefully the instructions of the medicines you use, and in case of doubt consult your doctor.
- UV rays are harmful to unprotected eyes. Necessary condition is the use of protective glasses designed specifically for a solarium (the so called UV glasses).
- The use of solarium is recommended maximum once a day and 50 times a year. Avoid overdose, it leads to burns.
- Ointments with a protection factor and tanning creams can affect your tanning program. We encourage you to take a shower and apply moisturizer after the procedure.
- If the there is any redness or blisters after the procedure necessarily consult a doctor.
